主講人簡介🍴：

王艷麗🪬，中國科EON4生物物理研究所,中國科EON4核酸生物學重點實驗室,研究員🧢。曾在美國斯隆－凱瑟琳癌症研究中心進行博士後、副研究員、高級研究員的研究工作🤸🏽‍♀️。2011年以中科院“百人計劃”加入中科院生物物理所及中科院核酸生物學重點實驗室任研究員👨🏽‍🌾🤹🏽‍♀️。作為通訊作者及第一作者已在Nature、Cell、PNAS🤙🏽、Nat Struct Mol Biol等高水平期刊上發表幾十篇論文。獲得諸多國內外學術獎勵，包括第二屆HHMI 國際學者、萬人計劃、第十三屆中國青年女科學家獎、第九屆談家楨生命科學獎（創新獎）、傑出青年基金獲得者📱、優秀青年基金獲得者及中科院優秀百人獎等。

內容簡介：

A rapidly growing number of regulatory RNAs are known to be involved in defense against invading nucleic acids in prokaryotes. For example, the CRISPR-Cas system, a RNA-based heritable adaptive immune system in prokaryotes, protects bacteria and archaea against invading viruses and plasmids. In addition, a substantial number of bacteria and archaea possess a homolog of the RNAi-associated nuclease Argonaute (Ago), which may be a key protein in a novel anti-virus defense system. The main focus of my work is to systematically demonstrate the mechanisms of Ago protein-mediated DNA interference and the CRISPR-Cas systems.
